I will always take my vehicles to Richey’s. All the staff are professional, supportive, and trustworthy. My transmission was failing. They gave me all the options and what I could expect if I chose that option. They replaced my transmission and they found another issue and fixed it. They could have left the damaged part and it would have cost a lot to fix it. Then they did not charge me labor for the extra. After I took my car home, there was a small leak of coolant and I drove it back on Monday. The owner Chris had an appointment out of town. He stayed an extra thirty minutes to look at my car. He is a true professional. Very patient and kind. My car is fixed and I am so lucky I took my car here.

7-22-2022 Update: Chris and team came to my rescue once again and returned my 1986 Silverado to first rate performance condition. This time he totally rebuilt the original transmission, replaced my exhaust system from the manifold back, fixed the A/C, adjusted the carburetor and fixed several electrical issues. I had a new battery put in in Florida and it wasn’t properly installed, as the mercedes didn’t recognize it as a new battery. After multiple charges and jumps I ended up towing it into Chris. He analyzed the problem, kept it to make sure it was going to continue to run properly and returned it to me without any charges, other than 3 hours of labor. My Acura wouldn’t start (not even jump start) so I called Richey’s. It took them a couple of hours to diagnose the problem after I had my car tow to them. It was a broken starter. They also replaced the battery (which they believed to be the reason for the broken starter; and I knew independently without telling them that the battery was no good as I measured the voltage after charging it at home) and I asked them to do a wheel alignment which I was about to do anyway. The owner even gave me a ride to their shop after they performed all the services (which was about 1day after they got my car) since I was stranded with nobody else to drive me. The car has been running very nicely since then, and they have a life warranty on the starter (only labor cost would be required should anything happen) and they have a 6 year warranty on the battery (and if anything happens with the battery within 30months they would replace it without any charge). In overall it was a pleasant experience and I believe they are honest people. Price was also reasonable, they were able to charge less than their original quoted estimate. Highly recommended to entrust your car service/repair needs to them!
